One unit of your blood will save the lives of four patients. Take a step for such human service and donate blood. Amar Ujala Foundation is organizing a blood donation camp today (14 June) on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The camp will be held at Amar Ujala office Guru Ka Tal, SN Medical College Blood Bank and District Hospital Blood Bank. Blood donors will also be given a certificate by the Foundation and the Blood Bank.
A donor card will also be provided, so that if needed, one can get a unit of blood for his patient without donating blood. SN Blood Transfusion Department Head Dr. Neetu Chauhan said that donating blood does not cause any weakness. Blood is replenished in seven days and iron in 90 days.
There will be a camp here
– Amar Ujala Office, Guru Ka Tal Sikandra: 8 am to 4 pm.
-SN Medical College Blood Bank: 8 am to 6 pm.
-District Hospital Blood Bank: 8am to 6pm.
These people can donate blood:
– Healthy men and women aged 18-65 years
– Have hemoglobin less than 12.6 g/dL
– Weighs more than 45 kg
– 3 months have passed since you donated blood
– Diabetic patients who do not take insulin
